Shobha thrives on challenges, having spent 20 years navigating the path of most resistance. Initially driven to prove that girls can do anything, she now embraces the thrill of making an impact. From earning a chemical engineering degree to tackling roles in process engineering, field engineering, project / construction/ operations/ maintenance management across various energy sectors including nuclear. Shobha's journey has been anything but linear. A pivotal design mistake led her to the field to gain hands-on experience. Her career took a sharp turn when she became Head of North America Quality, and later, she decided to start a healthcare facility while continuing her career in energy to help people and fund personal environmental conservation efforts. Most recently Shobha led a construction business unit at Vestas, proving that the road less traveled can lead to remarkable destinations. One final piece of experience across the supply chain is her role today at TOP a renewable energy developer.
