Meave M. Tooher, Esq. is a seasoned attorney specializing in renewable energy siting, environmental law, and regulatory compliance. She currently serves as Managing Attorney for Siting at the New York State Department of Public Service, overseeing legal aspects of renewable energy and transmission projects. Previously, she was General Counsel for the Office of Renewable Energy Siting and a partner at Tooher & Barone, LLP, where she represented clients in environmental litigation and regulatory matters. With extensive experience in government ethics, land use, and administrative law, Meave has also lectured for the NYS Bar Association and the National Institutes of Health. She holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.S. in Psychology from Fordham University.
