Evelyn Chavez is a Sr. Project Engineer at SOLV Energy, one of the world's leading contractors in solar energy. She has been in the solar industry since September 2022 and has personally worked on over a GW of solar energy in California alone, switching between multiple addresses in various districts and counties. Thanks to SOLV Energy, she is able to travel with these projects and just recently, began a new journey on activism and representing SOLV on a larger scale. Evelyn has grown her speaking expertise by joining events such as Lobby Days on the Hill with ACP, getting more involved in community outreach and attending WRISE events all over the country. Evelyn believes it has never been more important to be involved and to spread information on the importance of renewable energy.
