Ellen left the Senate when Gov. Dayton appointed her Chair of the MN PUC, and later served as Senior Energy and Environmental Advisor to Dayton. In 2014, she returned to the U. of MN law school to lead the Energy Transition Lab, found the Minnesota Energy Storage Alliance, and work with hundreds of stakeholders and students to advance climate policy and clear energy. In 2020, Ellen became the Climate Program Director at the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, focusing on climate solutions, and played a key role in Minnesota’s transformational Clean Electricity Standard in 2023. She is now a Clean Energy & Climate Consultant. Ellen is married and enjoys family, music, travel, the outdoors, and the St. Croix River.

Ms. Bradford joined NextEra Energy Resources in February 2014 as an associate analyst, focusing on improving methods to model and monitor solar energy production. Her work on incorporating sub-hourly irradiance variability into preconstruction assessments has been an important contributor to publicizing and rectifying an industry-wide modeling bias. Ms. Bradford holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree in professional meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining Siemens, she served as a Senior Advisor for the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., where she managed a team of policy advisors based in British Consulates across the US on energy and climate policies. She also served as a Professional Staff Member for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. She holds a Master of Arts, Strategic Security Studies, from the National Defense University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Mexico. She is a member of the Women’s Energy Network and its Executive Membership Program and previously served as the Chapter’s President.

Annika Colston

Annika’s previous experience includes Vice President at PV Navigator where she originated and developed over 50 MW of solar projects on landfills and brownfields and President of C2i Methane where she developed and sold a portfolio of landfill gas to energy projects. Ms. Colston has worked on solar, landfill gas, anaerobic digestion, coal mine methane, hydropower, and energy efficiency projects. A pioneer in carbon credit markets, both compliance and voluntary markets, Annika was responsible for sourcing, developing and marketing the first ever climate change project under the Kyoto Protocol to receive carbon credits. She has been innovating ever since. Ms. Colston holds a Masters of City Planning from Massachusetts of Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Boston University.

Maranda Compton

Now, she relies on that deep legal expertise to develop practical strategies for successful project development. Her work involves the many questions of permitting, financing, regulation, and government relations that can arise when developing and operating projects within or impacting Indian Country, including issues of Tribal consultation; treaty rights; Tribal-State-Federal regulation; tax credits; and equity metrics such as Environmental Justice, Justice 40, and ESG. In addition, Maranda is a thought-leader on Indigenous-focused education and regularly speaks and facilitates trainings focused on the legal rights, histories, and contemporary cultures of Tribal Nations in the United States. Maranda is a citizen of the Delaware Tribe of Indians (one of three federally recognized Tribal Nations of Lenape people within the United States), as well as a mom of two, a resident of Missoula, Montana, an adjunct professor at the University of Montana School of Law, and a policy fellow at the Center for Indian Country Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

Elizabeth Crouse

Elizabeth advises clients on a range of U.S. federal income tax matters, including Investment Tax Credits (ITC) for renewable electricity and renewable natural gas (RNG), Production Tax Credits (PTC) for renewable electricity, hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and clean fuels, and the Section 45Q tax credit for carbon capture and sequestration. She is also working with clients to obtain federal government funding for manufacturing facilities in the renewable and carbon capture industries.
Elizabeth leads and provides tax counseling for tax equity investments and acquisitions and dispositions of projects and platforms, as well as structuring and coordination of project finance transactions. In addition, she has negotiated more than 3 gigawatts of safe harbor procurement contracts for renewable electricity projects and many more for renewable fuels projects. Elizabeth also works collaboratively with clients and colleagues on venture investments in climate tech companies, corporate sustainability programs, and private and public finance.
Nationally recognized in the industry, Elizabeth is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences and webinars on topics including tax credits for renewable electricity, renewable hydrogen, renewable natural gas, energy storage, and carbon capture, as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and corporate sustainability topics. Elizabeth is the co-director of the Seattle chapter of Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy. She also chairs the Renewable Hydrogen Alliance’s Oregon Policy Subcommittee and is a member of the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Association (PNWH2) Board Advisory Committee.
Elizabeth has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Energy and Tax law and the Washington Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

She has a demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with members of the legislature, administration, and community leaders. Steffanie maintains an expansive network of policymakers, NGOs, trade associations, industry stakeholders, and other policy influencers. She is a passionate, positive self-starter excited to deliver state policy wins centered on advancing renewable energy. In 2000, at the age of 28, Tonya founded Power Solutions, Inc. (PSI), an electrical contracting, and facility maintenance company. Today PSI specializes in renewable energy, electrification, and EV charger manufacturing. Her visionary leadership has driven the company's success, expanding its operations internationally, as featured in Forbes Japan in November 2019. Additionally, Tonya's progress as a tradeswoman and business owner in the construction industry garnered recognition in the New York Times in March 2020. Recognizing the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion, Tonya launched Women Do Everything LLC in 2015. Through this initiative, she has been instrumental in training and supporting women in male-dominated industries, both through employment and entrepreneurship.

Utopia Hill

Utopia previously served as Head of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) at Reactivate and as Vice President of Renewables Construction for Invenergy. After beginning her career at General Electric, Utopia spent nearly two decades at Invenergy in roles within engineering, procurement, and construction. She has been involved in over10,000 MW of renewables projects including wind, solar and energy storage. Utopia has been recognized for her sharp intellect, detailed dedication to project execution, and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Utopia has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has completed Executive Education coursework at Harvard Business School.

Rozina's work is characterized by a creative approach that recognizes the importance of artistic and imaginative expressions in the environmental movement. In this vein, she recently wrote and produced "Love in the Time of Climate Change," a climate comedy play that explores environmental issues through humor and creativity.
Throughout her career, Rozina has remained committed to promoting inclusivity in the environmental movement. She recognizes that the scale of the environmental crisis requires a collaborative effort that leverages the diverse perspectives and talents of individuals from all walks of life.

Jessica has spent the last decade immersed in solar trade policy, beginning with managing a coalition of over 100 solar companies and lobbying for a US solar raw materials manufacturer during two rounds of AD/CVD duties on Chinese solar cells and modules. She then came to SOLV Energy (FKA Swinerton Renewable Energy) where she collaborated with SEIA to support and lead industry advocacy efforts against the Section 201 solar tariffs. As Chair of SEIA’s Trade Working Group, Jessica successfully led industry-wide efforts, including fundraising and executing a targeted ad campaign supported by industry partners, to curb an effort to initiate AD/CVD circumvention duties as well as limit the impact of the Section 201 extension on solar cells and modules by helping lead an advocacy effort for a bifacial exclusion.
Prior to joining the solar industry, Jessica spent a decade focused on foreign policy and national security issues as a lobbyist and on Capitol Hill. She speaks regularly at conferences and events on the intersection between trade, manufacturing, supply chain, national security, and labor policy as it relates to job growth and clean energy deployment. Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in National Security Studies from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of Washington.

Tasha is a CELI (Clean Energy Leadership Institute) Fellow and CEBN (Clean Energy Business Network) Maria Telkes Fellow. Tasha is passionate about climate change and issues that impact women and people of color. Her life work includes investing over 10 years in the Renewable Energy industry with an emphasis in Power Systems. Prior to that she spent over 15 years in Business leadership and electrical engineering/technical roles. Tasha is currently the Vice President of Project Engineering at RWE Renewables, where her responsibilities include leading the technical execution of Utility Scale Solar, Battery Storage, Wind, and Green Hydrogen Projects. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in six US States and a certified Project Management Professional. In addition to her professional experience, Tasha serves in various advisory capacities including as Board Member of Calculated Genius, Board Member of Austin Urban Tech Movement and Advisory Board Member of CELI EDICT (Empowering Diversity in Clean Tech) Program. She has a true passion for renewables and particularly for the economic development clean energy provides to rural communities and farm families. Having grown up on a farm in Central Minnesota herself, she values the time she has spent at kitchen tables around the United States with many generations of farmers. Shanelle graduated from American University School of Public Affairs in Washington DC with her Masters of Public Policy and has a BA and BS from Hamline University in St Paul, MN. In her spare time, she is the mother of three rambunctious children and the co-founder, along with her husband Chris, of one of the first micro-distilleries in the Midwest, Du Nord Social Spirits.

Meghan has held policy positions at the World Bank and the British Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as well as a number of environmental organizations. In these positions, Meghan has worked on, advocated for, and impacted a significant number of energy and environment-related issues and policies. She has been named one of the #Solar100 thought leaders in the U.S., one of the Denver Business Journal’s top women in energy for 2018 and one of the DBJ’s top women in business in 2021. She was also a 2021 C3E award winner from the U.S. Department of Energy in the business category. She was a candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives in 2017-18. Meghan received her BA in Biology from Cornell University and her MPA from Princeton University.

Before returning to Nigeria in 2020, Adaobi spent four and a half years in The Hague, The Netherlands as an external relations executive at Royal Dutch Shell International headquarters. In that role, she was responsible for reputation management, developing and managing communications strategies and stakeholder engagements that addressed the impact of Shell’s operations in Nigeria. Prior to her time in The Hague, she spent eight years as a communications specialist for Shell Nigeria, first as Head of Editorial Services then Internal Communications Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. Noteworthy accomplishments during her tenure include the creation of a homegrown, in-country led Internal Communications department and the launch of Shell Nigeria’s social media presence. Adaobi has worked in corporate communications throughout a 20+ year career that began at the Clinton White House, where as Press Office intern, she contributed to speeches for then-First Lady, Hillary Clinton— a role that required a West Wing Office and full U.S. Secret Service clearance. Her career has included Public Relations with Rogers & Cowan in Los Angeles, Editorial Services at Foreign Policy Magazine, The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, AARP headquarters in Washington DC and Internal Communications at The World Bank, all of which have earned her a broad international network in government, media, entertainment, oil & gas and the renewable energy sectors. A true global citizen and people magnet, Adaobi has visited, lived or worked on six continents and is an avid adventurer. Summiting Mount Kilimanjaro and running the Great Wall of China Marathon are amongst her favourite adventures. A journalist by training, Adaobi is a closet write and hopes to publish books someday.

Earlier in her career, Diana designed and advised different commercial and non-commercial R&D entities focused on the development of new climate models and technologies. After being recognized for her contributions to climate science, Diana was invited to the Social Science Research Council and the National Science Foundation where she developed new programs to further the role of applied science in social innovation. In addition to PVG, Diana is a strategic advisor to the Discovery Partner’s Institute, Recount Media, and Noggin Media. She has a Ph.D. and an M.A. from Stanford University, an M.Ed. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from Brown University. She is also a Lieberman Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar, and a Sigma Xi Distinguished Lecturer. Most importantly, Diana is a proud graduate of the Freestyle Love Supreme Academy.

Leanne also serves on the ACP Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Raised around the world as an “Army brat,” Leanne eventually planted roots with her wife, three children, and an ever-changing number of pets near Minneapolis, MN. Chéri is an MIT Indigenous Communities Fellow and MIT Solver, a Cordes Fellow, and a Climate Leader trained by former Vice President Al Gore. She serves as an Advisor to the Yale School of Business and the Environment and previously served as an Advisory Board member for the Masters in Renewable Energy degree program at Penn State and as a Buffalo & Erie County Workforce Investment Board Director. Chéri is the mother of three amazing children, including an Army wounded warrior. She resides with her fisherman husband on beautiful Narragansett homelands in present-day Rhode Island.

Ms. Toenjes has presented at some of the industry’s largest conferences, including Solar Power International and Solar Power Northeast. In 2015, Ms. Toenjes was elected to the NYSEIA Board of Directors. In addition to her seat on the Board, she also served as Vice President of NYSEIA and Chair of the Business Development Committee where she worked to cultivate relationships with local New York solar companies interested in joining the organization and becoming more engaged in New York solar policy.
Previously, Ms. Toenjes worked for U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-ME) in Washington, D.C. During her time in the Senator’s office, Ms. Toenjes worked directly with Senator Snowe’s Senior Advisor on Energy/Environmental Policy. Ms. Toenjes holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College with a double major in Government and Legal Studies and Environmental Studies.

Molly served on the Namaste Solar Board of Directors from 2019-2023. She has experience running a P&L, skilled trade and team management, and workflow and process development and implementation. She brings technical acumen, analytical thinking, and courage to her work. She asks challenging questions and has a strong track record of fully exploring an issue. Molly brings a strategic mindset and has a strong ability to look at the big picture and think outside the box. Molly’s background includes a bachelor’s in chemistry from Smith College, a master’s in environmental policy from Bard College, and several years working in higher education admissions and graduate recruiting. Molly’s passion for learning and growing both in her career and her personal time has brought value to her life and those around her. Molly lives in Fort Collins with her dog Pluto and enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling.
