This program connects seasoned professionals with attendees seeking to grow their careers in renewable energy and sustainability. Volunteer coaches will lead tailored discussions, answer questions, and provide guidance customized to each attendee’s goals. Effective planning, communication, and follow-up are essential to maximize the impact of each session.

Who:
Anyone attending the WRISE Leadership Forum who is interested in receiving career coaching.
Where:
- The event will be held at the Hilton in Atlanta, Georgia.
- We will have designated meeting spaces available; however, you can also choose to meet at a nearby coffee shop or park within a 5- to 10-minute walk of the hotel.
- Coaching is only available in person.
When:
- October 14–16, 2025.
- You can request as many 45-minute sessions as you like.

3–5 days after signing up via the Google Form, you will receive an invitation to our coaching scheduling platform, Krowden.

You will receive a “magic link” from Krowden, prompting you to set up your profile and review available coaches, sorted by day and time. There's no need to create a login. Please choose the times that work for you. We have intentionally excluded any times that conflict with Keynote sessions or General Sessions.

All listed times are in Eastern time. You can select as many or as few time slots as you prefer. Clicking “request” will send a meeting invite.

Recommendation: When finalizing your request, we suggest sending a “share link” to your current resume (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.), which will allow the requested coach to view the information before your coaching session.
Your profile will be pre-filled with any information you provided through the Google Form, but you are free to make any changes to your profile.

As conflicts occur, you can remove or add any time slots. To reschedule, you must cancel your current meeting and request a new time.

Prepare for Coaching Session
- Review the coach’s bio on Krowden and/or LinkedIn profile.
- Identify which topics or questions will be most effective and relevant for that specific coach.
- Prepare your answers:
- Be prepared to ask fundamental questions such as:
- “Can you tell me about your background and experiences?”
- “What initially sparked your interest in [industry/role]?”
- Have questions ready about passions and motivations, for example:
- “What motivates you to pursue a career in [specific field]?”
- “Is there something about your career journey that isn’t on your resume but you’d like to share?”
- Consider questions about actions and contributions, such as:
- “Can you describe a time when you solved a difficult problem or bridged a communication gap?”
- Discuss future goals with topics like:
- “What skills or experiences are you excited to develop in your next role?”
- Reflect on goal-oriented questions to clarify needs and expectations, for instance:
- “What support or environment do you feel you need from your employer or manager to perform at your best?”

Day of Coaching Sessions
Arrange to meet your coach at the designated location on the WRISE Leadership Forum Floor Plan. A link will be sent in the final confirmation messages. From there, you can meet at a nearby coffee shop or a quiet area within the conference center. Please be flexible with scheduling and meeting times, as this is a volunteer-run initiative.
